For Element type support:
- When exporting a higher order tetrahedron element (Tet10), SimLab will export as C3D10 or DC3D10 in the Abaqus deck (.inp) file.
- Based on the analysis type, SimLab will internally determine the tetrahedron element variation.
- For Structural analysis, the C3D10 card will be exported.
- For Thermal analysis, the DC3D10 card will be exported.
For “*PRESSURE PENETRATION” card support:
- Currently, SimLab does not support the pressure penetration loading for the surface-based contact. As a workaround, kindly include the above card as text input as shown below.
